Connecture to Host Webinar on Building Broker Relationships in the Small Group Market
BROOKFIELD, Wis. — February 27, 2018 – Connecture, Inc. (OTCQX: CNXR) will host a webinar titled, “Optimize the Broker Role in the Small Group Market” on Wednesday, February 28 (1pm EST), where they will discuss how health plans can leverage technology and data to work more collaboratively with their small group brokers.
In a recent survey from AHIP, 46% of employees consider healthcare coverage a key factor in selecting their current job; 56% in staying with their job. So, not surprisingly, many carriers have seen their small group business grow over the last few years. Now, the question for carriers is: how do you retain that great book of business without sacrificing resources who could be focused on new acquisitions? The short answer: brokers. During the webinar, Connecture’s expert panel will discuss how carriers can empower their broker teams to eliminate manual processes, and focus on increasing the volume of new sales and renewals. Connecture will also share findings from their broker research and insights from carriers that successfully improved broker adoption rates of their quoting and enrollment technology.
The expert panel will include:
- Amy Christofis, Client Services Director and Licensed Broker: Amy has emerged as a leader at the intersection of the broker community, millennials, and benefits technology. At Connecture, she works with brokers and employers to implement technology that makes enrollment and management of employee benefits simple, intuitive and informative.
- Jim Armstrong, Sr. Director of Product Strategy: Jim is the Senior Director of Product Strategy for Connecture’s Group solutions. In his role, Jim is responsible for product strategy, functionality, roadmap and execution. He has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
- Joe Feeney, SVP of Enterprise Accounts: Joe brings more than 20 years of expertise in the healthcare industry as a consultant to health plans nationwide. As Vice President of Enterprise Accounts, he is responsible for developing Connecture’s Small Group go-to-market strategy.
