Waukesha, WI – February 6, 2012 – Connecture, Inc., the leader in sales automation software for the healthcare industry welcomed Governor Scott Walker, who announced a significant agreement that will create more than 100 jobs in WI, while relocating Connecture’s national headquarters from Atlanta, GA to Waukesha, WI.
“Jobs come from an idea that one or two or three people have. It builds out and takes off, and blossoms when other great people join the effort. That is what has happened here with Connecture,” said Governor Walker during his visit to Connecture’s office. “The additional announcement that they will be relocating their headquarters here is good news for continued job growth.”
According the to the governor’s office, the agreement includes up to $1.2 million in state credits and incentives over three years. In exchange, Connecture will create 105 high-paying professional technology jobs within the state during that period.
“Connecture is focused on bringing highly skilled technology jobs to Wisconsin,” said Dan Maynard, President of Connecture. “Our mission—providing access to health insurance for consumers and groups—has yielded significant sustainable growth, and the result is an influx of technology jobs in the state of Wisconsin, which will better position the company and community for future growth. The 100-plus new jobs we will create in the state of Wisconsin are only the beginning; in fact, we are confident that we will achieve this hiring goal in 2012 alone.”
Connecture is recruiting for over 25 open positions in all business operations, and will conduct a recruiting open house, on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at The Iron Horse Hotel, 500 W. Florida St., Milwaukee, between 5:30-8:30pm. Interested candidates can network with Connecture executives and employees to learn more about the company, and apply for jobs.
